This is a 6 night/7 day Sri Lanka tour package to discover the many treasures that Sri Lanka has to offer. The tour begins in Negombo, a serene seaside town on the outskirts of Colombo near the airport, and continues to the Cultural Triangle, where Sri Lanka’s rich heritage and architectural marvels impress every traveler.

Then head to the Sigiriya Rock Fortress (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) to discover a magnificent kingdom built on a rock. Travel to the Temple of the Tooth in Kandy, the Hill Capital, and soak up the mist and chill of Nuwara Eliya. This perfectly balanced vacation is now yours to have.

DAY 01
Pickup from Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer to a hotel in Negombo to rest overnight.

DAY 02
After breakfast leave for Polonnaruwa. Approximately 4-hour drive. Visit the ruins of Ancient Ceylon – the UNESCO World Heritage City of Polonnaruwa.

DAY 03
After breakfast visit the rock fortress of Sigiriya – a 5th Century “Fortress in the Sky”, a UNESCO world heritage. In the afternoon we will do a village safari and cook a Sri Lankan meal.

DAY 04
After breakfast leave for Kandy. Approximately 2 hours drive the way visit one of the most unusual temples buried in a maze – the UNESCO Golden Cave Temple in Dambulla.

DAY 05
Early morning leave for Nuwara Eliya. Approximately 2 hour drive. On the way visit a working tea factory and the famous Ramboda Falls. After lunch leave for Ella on a train. Approximately a 3-hour train ride. Overnight at Ella.

DAY 06
An early morning hike to Ella rock. Then proceed to Udawalawe for a jeep safari. Approximately 1.5 hour’s drive. After the safari proceed to Galle. Approximately 4-hour drive. Overnight stay at Galle.

DAY 07
Transfer to the airport. Approximately 2.5 hour drive.
